VESC 75100 Potting Fixture

This model is designed to hold a Flipsky/Makerbase "EBike" style VESC 75100 vertically to allow it to be filled with a potting compound to waterproof it. 2x M3x8+mm screws are used to hold the ESC in place.

I used hot glue to seal the edges/seams of the ESC to prevent any potting compound from leaking out. The compound I used was SYLGARD 527 Silicone Dielectric Gel. However, I would recommend using something thicker and more viscous, as the SYLGARD 527 Gel stays tacky and jello-like after curing. 

I would also HIGHLY recommend securing the capacitors inside the ESC, as they are very fragile suspended inside the enclosure. I used this model, "Flipsky 75100 Capacitor Mount" by AlbertP on Thingivierse, and super-glued the caps to it and the PCB, then potted everything.
