Star Wars Republic Nu-Class Attack Shuttle

The Nu-Class Attack Shuttle was a shuttle used by the Galactic Republic during the Clone Wars. Its service continued into the early days of the Galactic Empire.

It appears in The Clone Wars and The Bad Batch.

This is a model with folding print-in-place wings.

It has a hole compatible with big pin and base (link). You will need two pins.

Nu-Class Attack Shuttle

The Nu-Class Shuttle is a predecessor of the famous imperial Lambda-Class Shuttle, though it lacks the top wing and features a more utilitarian design.

Like the Lambda-Class Shuttle, its wings fold upwards to land. In addition to that, the wings of a Nu-Class Shuttle also have secondary hinges about halfway up the wings. This allows them to fold in further and reduces its height when landed. This feature is rarely used. I know only two occurrences where this feature was shown on-screen:

• Clone Wars Animated Movie, the shuttle that transports Ahsoka to Cristophsis

  • (There is another shuttle later in that same movie, but it doesn't use this feature when landing)

• Clone Wars S7E12, the escape shuttle

The model is at 1:270 scale.

Print Instructions

Printed at 0.15mm layer height.

Requires supports on buildplate.

Brim recommended.

Add "republic shuttle-support blocker" as a support blocker.

Do not change the orientation. The print-in-place hinges require this specific orientation.
