Inspired by the cold glow of the full moon, the Elder Moon Dragon features a fully segmented, print-in-place body that flexes and flows right off the build plate, no assembly, no glue, no supports. Every scale is sculpted, every joint locks in with satisfying articulation. It's the kind of model that stops people mid-print just to stare.

🐲 Design Highlights

Full body articulation from snout to tail tip, every segment moves independently. The sculpt leans into a muscular, elder dragon silhouette with pronounced horns and layered scale detail that catches light beautifully at any layer height.

🌕 Color Inspiration

This dragon was born for silk and galaxy filaments. Try Silk Silver or Pearl White for that cold moonlight effect, or go bold with a deep Midnight Blue or Obsidian Black silk PLA for a more menacing elder. Gradient multicolor filaments look stunning as the scales shift color along the body.

🖨 Printing Tips

Print at 0.2 mm layer height for the best detail-to-strength balance. No supports needed, the model is fully designed for print-in-place. After printing, flex the joints gently along the full body to activate the articulation. PLA and Silk PLA recommended; PETG works too for extra flexibility.
