Description
This part connects the top of the acrylic body to the inside burr shaft. It shattered on mine so i took it apart, and reverse engineered it.
I printed mine basically solid in PETG. Seems like it should hold up, but you are free to experiment with more durable materials. Supports are needed for the center column.
I unfortunately didnt take picture taking it apart, which was a bit of a a pain.
The simple version is take out all the screws and then with a long screw driver, tap the burr mechanism out from the inside. Hold the body, screw driver on the burr shaft and hit the screw driver with a hammer.
I also found that one piece that kind of looks like a circular cage is plastic welded together. There might be a better way to do this, but i cut the posts with a scalpel, then drilled the posts and replaced the plastic weld with small self tapping screws when i put it back together.
