Description
Chain Codes are a form of personal ID in Star Wars. There were different incarnations of Chain Codes, with these specific discs being issued by the Galactic Empire to all its citizen shortly after it was formed. They appeared in The Bad Batch.
This is a multi-colored model. It uses four filament swaps and does not need a MMU.
It uses four colors:
Gray
Red
Black
White
Using light and dark gray instead of white and gray would be more screen-accurate.
Length | Width | Height |
|---|---|---|
68.8mm | 56.2mm | 3mm |
The model is split into a front and a back. Both can be printed at the same time. The back is just the front without the top layers.
The gray cut-outs on the sides are not centered. When glueing both parts together, make sure these cut-outs line up properly. If they do not, rotate one side by 180°.
Printed at 0.1mm layer height. (0.2mm works too, but the quality is noticably worse)
Ironing recommend.
This model uses filament swaps.
start with gray
swap to white at 0.9mm
swap to red at 1.3mm
swap to black at 1.5mm
swap to gray at 1.7mm
The pre-sliced file contains all filament swaps.
