Description
SINE | pendant light E27/E26
Eight modules. One wave. No tools.
Built on the same modular architecture as the COROA, SINE takes the system in a new direction. Alternating the module orientation creates a continuous wave, a silhouette that shifts with every angle.
Printed here in Ardoise PLA by Francofil, a slate powder composite with a matte mineral finish. Slightly translucent, it takes on a warm amber glow when lit.
Print all eight modules the same way and you get an entirely different lamp. The SINE shape comes from alternating 4x module 1 and 4x module 2.
Both STL files included.
All eight shades print from a single 1kg spool:
• Each module: ~120g of filament, 1h50 print time
• Central ring: ~120g of filament, 2h20 print time
Part of my signature woven collection of 3D printed lighting objects.
DIMENSIONS (assembled) | Ø540 mm × H205 mm
EACH MODULE | W202 × L205 × H158 mm
COMPATIBILITY | Prusa MK3/4, Bambu Lab A1 and most 210×250mm+ beds. Not compatible with Ender 3 or A1 Mini
3D PRINT SETTINGS:
All STL files are already oriented properly.
They can be printed with either a 0.4mm or 0.8mm nozzle.
You need to print:
• 8 modules in vase mode (settings below)
• a socket plate, the central ring onto which the modules are mounted
• 8 small dovetail locks to secure the modules in position
MODULES:
The 3D model is full. This is normal.
You need to "empty it" by printing it vase mode (spiralize outer contour / spiral vase).
For 0.8mm nozzle:
• 0.4mm layer height
• default 0.84mm line width
• 12 bottom layers (adjust if using another layer height)
For 0.4mm nozzle:
• 0.3mm layer height (ignore the “0.28mm limit” warning)
• 0.8mm line width
• 16 bottom layers
SOCKET PLATE & DOVETAIL LOCKS:
Print them together on the same build plate using standard print settings.
Happy printing!
