Zooz ZSE41 Open-Close XS Sensor Mounting Hardware

This model was created to allow the Zooz ZSE41 Open-Close XS Sensor to be mounted using screws instead of sticky adhesive tape.  It also fits the holes left behind from a SecurityMan alarm installation.

This model was printed with PETG.  The magnet mount does not need support material.  Organic supports were used to print the sensor mount.  The magnet is removed from the ZSE41 magnet holder and fits into this magnet mount as shown.

There are several benefits of this model.  Using hardware to mount the ZSE41 will keeps it from falling since the risk of adhesive tape failure is removed.  The ZSE41 can be slid out of the mounting hardware for easy battery replacement.  Since there is no plastic surrounding the metal magnet, the gap between the sensor and the magnet mount can be a little more generous.  The metal magnet can also be adjusted in the slot for better alignment.

The parametric FreeCAD model is included for those that may need to adjust the hole size or other feature.
