Prusa MMU2 Filament Retract Bank Guide

This is based on the drawing from David's design document. I didn't want to buy the materials and tools needed to make it out of plexi or other materials, so I decided to print it.

I've included two versions, one for the full size as designed (305mm), and one that fits on my Prusa i3 Mk3 print bed with a little room at the edges (240mm). I realize that the filament will extend out of the guide when fully retracted, but that happens anyway, and should not interfere with the functionality.

I printed the front piece with extra perimeters and no top or bottom layers and I used a honeycomb infill at 10% so that I could easily see through it to verify the filament is loading/unloading properly. Screw holes were added for assembly, or even just to align and hold while gluing. They are made for M3 screws so slip through the front piece and friction fit in the back piece enough to hold them together.

This model has proven to function well for myself and others, so I have removed the WIP indicator.

Version History:
v2.1 - Added "extension" models to lengthen the bank. This should only be needed if you've extended the PTFE from the MMU2 to the extruder for some reason (like mounting the MMU2 on something other than the frame of the printer). It is designed for wall mounting.

v2 - chamfer added to back edge of front piece to help prevent filament catching there during retraction. This has not been tested yet, but should work fine.
