Description
While most of my boomerangs are drawn using splines or free-form modeling, some are constructed from basic geometric primitives such as lines and circular arcs.
This particular boomerang consists of just circular arcs for the outline as well as for defining the airfoils. I think it still looks nice and organic.
Throw not too high and with a little layover. If it comes in in front of you, as my first print did, try to decrease the wind angle (i.e., throw more into the wind) and/or reduce spin.
The model came out pretty big. Scale down as needed for your printer.
Have a look at the Onshape document to see how this was constructed.
