Description
I made a quick design for the x-carriage for my Vulcanus V1. It should also fit every printer with an axis distance of 50 mm (Prusa / Mendel etc.). It's designed to use LM8UU bearings on 8mm rods.
The carriage is designed to fit an E3D V6, cooling fan and auto bed leveling probe (13mm diameter). A mount for a drag chain and endstop (on the carriage) is included.
The E3D Titan Bowden Adapter is to mount the E3D Titan to the X-carriage and keep the filament guide in place - if you have the adapter from E3D you wont need this.
For assembly you will need some M3 hex nuts and M3 screws (18-30 mm).
Firmware Settings
The probe offsets are:
'#define X_PROBE_OFFSET_FROM_EXTRUDER -24 // X offset: -left +right [of the nozzle]'
'#define Y_PROBE_OFFSET_FROM_EXTRUDER -9 // Y offset: -front +behind [the nozzle]'
If you mount the carriage the way shown in the picture (fan on the back site) - if you mount it the other way round (fan in front) you have make the numbers positive.
