Corsi-Rosenthal Box (DIY Air Purifier) Connectors

Corsi-Rosenthal boxes (aka Comparetto Cubes) are a great DIY solution for air purification. 

However, the traditional way of putting these together involves a bunch of duct tape, which is wasteful and tacky (pun not intended). It also means that you need to cut or remove the duct tape every time you need to replace the filters, which is a pain. 

These connectors eliminate the need for tape, so replacing the filters is a breeze (pun intended this time). There is a small gap between the filters when using the connectors, so if you want to use some tape to make it airtight, you can still do that.

There are multiple styles to choose from, and you will need to print 4x bottom pieces (Style A or B) and 4x top pieces (Style C or D), according to this chart:

These are the original version. Check out my remix for another version of these styles with thinner walls.

** A 4-filter box is intended to sit on the ground with the fan pointed up. Airflow only comes from the sides. A 5-filter design is intended to be suspended or otherwise propped up off the ground and allows airflow from all directions.
