Surface Pro Mount

WARNING!!! After using this for 4 months the sticky foam tape gave up and the Surface Pro fell off during the night.

I wanted to find a way to mount my Surface Pro 5 on top of my monitor. I have seen some cool Vesa Mounts that allow you to use a vesa mount dual monitor stand but that was overkill for me. Also I wanted it on TOP of my monitor not next to it. I couldn't find what I wanted so I designed my own. I have been using this for 3 months now and it hasn't fallen off so I feel it is safe to share. I am not responsible for anything you break. Use this at your own risk.

These little mounts are designed to fit my 27 inch ASUS monitor perfectly. There is a small lip in the front and a space for some double sided sticky foam tape. So these mounts won't slide or pry off easily.

If you want to customize the size for your own monitor then create a free onshape.com account and clone my project. Then change the measurement numbers in the sketch. I have included a picture of the sketch with the measurements for you.

I can mount my surface pro without the keyboard attached or I can turn it around backwards and have the keyboard just hang out the back so it is out of my way and off my desk.
