Description
Needed a new mailbox flag and my wife wanted it to be fluer de lys. I saw one here on thingivers a few years ago but can't find it anymore. So I made my own.
You will need a small screw. The one I used was about 15 mm long and roughly 4 mm thick (shaft) with wide threads. Typically these are used for wood like door hinges etc. But it worked perfectly to hold this into place.
The flag is 170.5 mm tall/long. If you want to customize it you can clone the document on OnShape.com.

Filament: G star ABS or PETG Red
Notes:
This was printed in ABS because it holds up in the elements better but ABS tends to warp a lot while printing. This one started to as well. But I had printed it with a nice brim. I was able to use clear scotch tape to tape the brim down to the print bed to hold it into place while the print finished. It worked just fine.
I would recommend printing with ABS if you have an enclosure that can keep the heat in so the parts don't warp. otherwise I suggest you print with PETG. it won't last as long in the elements but it is the next best option.
