Description
I wanted a removable glass bed surface on my Anet A8 to avoid using clips. My second reason was that I print with ABS and PLA, and with this I can easily swap the two build plates, one blank for PLA and one with ABS juice. I therefore designed these holders where you just slip the glass plate in and secure it in the front.
The front holders use 2-3 screws that come with the Anet A8 package.
The holders are designed for a Glass Size 235 x 235 x 3,9 mm glass plate, which is equal to the one on the Creality Ender 3. You can get the glass plate on amazon:
(where I got mine) https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B07DSC9TJQ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
(should also work) https://www.amazon.com/Official-Creality-3D-Tempered-235x235x3mm/dp/B07F16WPR5/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1544540901&sr=8-6&keywords=creality+ender+3+glass+bed
I purposely wanted a larger bed surface so that i could use the entire bed area of the Anet A8.
They also hold the springs of the bed in the right position, an have holes for the nuts on the top.

Notes:
If you want to print with ABS, it is important to also print these holders in ABS to resist to the higher temperatures.
Print with high infill, 4-5 perimeters and enough top and bottom layers to ensure a strong print. You might want to drill the holes out if it does not fit well.
