Description
E3D ToolChanger adapter for BondTech LGX ACE Copperhead/Mosquito Printhead.
I really dislike the way the E3D Hemera tool is designed.
Assembly:
(assembly video instructions coming soon)
you need to print:
Use the lgx ace printhead as a guide to screw the parts both to the extruder as well as the toolplate. Use the grubsrew used for the magnet in the tc-receiver to align the tc-receiver with the tc-receiver bracket. Use superglue to secure the three 3d printed parts together, without gluing the lgx ace in place. If necessary, use a drill to widen the tc-receiver holes for a perfect fit with the metal base (tool-holder) on the printer itself. Use 6 m3 threaded inserts to mount the printed parts to the toolplate.
Note: LIS3DSH and LIS3DH is referring to mounting points for these two accelerometers for use with input shaping (e.g. on Duet) if you do not plan to use this feature you can choose either one of the two tc-receiver parts.
