I really enjoy these simple, no fuzz drawer-style knife holders since they keep things nicely organized and out of the way. The only drawback I found with existing designs is how difficult it was finding one which exactly fit the size of my drawer.

I decided to design my own spin so that I can play with different sizes quickly and efficiently. That and because I got some requests from friends and family which all came with different size requirements.

With this design, space can be used efficiently by rotating some (less frequently used) knifes 180° and storing them in that orientation. This can be necessary if your knifes have very wide handles.

My goal was to offer something which would fit most drawer sizes (roughly within what's printable on most printers) but can still easily be slightly modified, without ever opening anything other than a Slicer. I'm aware that things like User Parameters within CAD or something like OpenSCAD exist. Many people however either don't know how to or don't want to fiddle with stuff like that and just wanna get to 80% with 20% of the effort. I added an additional folder with some random pre-cut files, in case you wanna do your own spin and whip out the glue. The whole idea is basically that you only need the tools which come with your slicer, nice and simple.

I designed it so the sides offer some wiggle room to simply cut off (in the slicer) to make it fit your exact drawer size or compartment inside of a drawer. You can pick from two heights, depending how how big your knifes are and what you prefer. You could of course also go for something bigger, by printing it in two pieces and gluing them together.

Quick demo on how to cut 5mm off on both sides within Prusa Slicer:

With some back-heavy knifes it's possible that they will be tipping and angling the blade up a wee bit. This can be solved by simply creating a simple cubic shape (or maybe even a rotated and cut in half cylinder!) within Prusa Slicer and changing its dimensions to match the width of the knife holder/drawer and the height of how you want the handles to be supported:

The knife holder and support for the handles either press fit into your drawer or can be non-destructively held in place with some double-sided tape.
