Micro SD card carrier - ultra compact, snap-fit

Use case

When your are doing action camera videos from your motorbike, bicycle, mountain bike, paraglider, etc., you don't have a lot of space but need a lot of SD cards. This is what this tough but very compact container is made for. It comes with a strong snap-fit hook, that makes sure the container does not open accidently. 

Printing

Print both parts in the uploaded orientation. I recommend 3 or more perimeters and at least 25% infill. I have tried both PETG and PLA and both worked well. Due to it's flexibility, I would recommend PETG, but the spring mechanism is not under load when the cover is closed, so PLA should not be a problem despite it's “floating” behavior. The complete cover top side is used as spring, therefore even relatively bridle material like PLA does work fine.

Wear-in required

At the first few open/close cycles, it may feel a bit hard moving. Especially PLA wears in quickly if you move it quickly a few times. Thanks to the distinct “hook” in the middle of the tray, it should still hold together well, even if it is a bit worn out.
