Dual BGM Mount for Lulzbot TAZ 1 through 5

This mod enables you to mount two BondTech BGM Dual drive extruders and a BL Touch probe to a Lulzbot TAZ 1 through 5. (It will also probably fit on a TAZ 6.)

This mod also converts the TAZ to use 1.75 mm filament.

Print instructions

This is a work in progress so some files/models might change. I have been testing it since November 2019 and it works really well. I still want to adjust a few things. Like the cable management.

I printed all the parts with PETG .2 mm layer heights. 30% infill 4 perimeters.

The bed spacer cylinders are there to replace the springs holding the print bed in place so it will never be manually leveled again. The BL Touch will take it from there.

You will need to flash the firmware on the printer as well. I will provide a link to firmware I am using.

You will need:
1x RIGHT Bondtech BGM dual drive extruder
1x LEFT Bondtech BGM dual drive extruder
(Name brand is WAY better than the knock off.)
2x 24v blower fans
2x 24v E3D V6 hot ends (Universal Mount preferred but you can fit a bowden type in there with a little work.)
8x M3 heat press nuts
4x M3 thin square nuts
6x M3 nuts (nylon lock recommended)
4x M3 x 10 bolts
6x M3 x 16 bolts
2x M3 x 20 bolts
2x M3 x 6 bolts

2x 5v 30 mm DC fans. (Optional)

Zip ties and some way to connect your wires to the cable harness.
