Description
The wheel that I propose has been adapted and redesigned several times over time, durable and functional, it adheres well even on smooth surfaces such as tiles - something that with purchased wheels, often does not happen.
(You are seeing the wheels on a prototype vacuum cleaner, but, that's another story!)
To have a good yield, I decided to use some non-plastic parts.
Assembly instructions are in the attached document.
In particular, the cylinder covers are a highly adherent heat-shrinkable material to prevent slippage.
Furthermore, the axis of the cylinders is made of brass, but aluminum can also be used.
See the material list in the attached document.
The downloadable model is compatible with the JGY-370 engine .
However, I have included the Fusion 360 files so that you can adapt it to your needs.
I recommend printing the cylinder in PETG and the wheel structure in PLA.
Non-plastic parts are:
Parts needed to purchase :
The link is an example, I found it from my hardware store for much less.
It is necessary to obtain them from a brass rod by cutting them appropriately with the object to be printed in the folder ("cutter and board")
Good print and…. assembly !
