Steam Deck USB-C Hub Stand

This is designed to snugly fit the CableCreation “USB C Hub 4K 60Hz, CableCreation 7-in-1 USB-C Hub Multiport Adapter with HDMI, 100W PD, Gigabit Ethernet, SD/TF Cards Reader, 2 USB 3.0 Ports, for MacBook Pro/ Air 2020/2019, iPad Pro, XPS” product (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08FWMWGTD) and raise it to be level with a docked Steam Deck (I use https://www.printables.com/model/173373-slightly-larger-steam-deck-usb-c-charger-cradle-wi for the dock). Initially I had this USB-C hub adhered behind the dock, but since the Steam Deck's USB-C port is on the top the cable was a fairly tight fit and I was uncomfortable with putting strain on it. This raises the hub to be about on the same height as the docked Deck to reduce strain. 

Key Dimensions

If you'd like to scale this to fit a different hub these are the key dimensions.

• The opening on the left side (for the ethernet port) is 15.64 mm wide
• The opening on the right side (for the USB-C cable that goes to the Steam Deck) is 6.80 mm wide
• The opening on the back (for the USB-C power cable, USB-A cables, and HDMI cable) is 110.04 mm wide
• The hub housing is 34.60 mm in width by 136.60 mm in length
• With the cap on, there is 16.77 mm of vertical clearance to fit the hub
• Excluding the cap, the stand is 160.06 mm in height with the hub sitting at 124.52 mm

Non-Print Materials (Optional)

This part is designed to be mounted with two 3M Command Large Picture Hanging Strips (16 lbs) on the bottom. Whether you need to do this depends on your setup. For the HDMI cable in particular is fairly heavy so I need to have it well-situated. If you don't have much weight from the connected cables to worry about you may be fine skipping adhesives.

I also used a single strip of electrical tape along the side of the ethernet cable to hide the USB-C hub's bright LEDs. 

Printing Advice

I printed this with 0.20 mm layer height Speed preset. These parts do not require extra strength and they do not have many fine details so I think this setting is fine. I would suggest not to go too much higher in layer height just because there are some fillet features along the Z-axis which are better expressed with smaller layer heights, but it's really not crucial.
