IKEA Container SAMLA Spool Holder / Storage

As I saw the video from Thomas Sanladerer I loved his idea of an filament storage which also serves as a spool holder so much, that I've build my own version based on IKEA container SAMLA.

I used some contact cement (https://goo.gl/7FtFvY) to glue both spool holters to the inside of the container. The mounting helper did a great deal to keep them at the same height. As an axis I used DN50 (sewage?) pipes like this (https://goo.gl/2rWFvj). Mine was with 50.25mm slightly thicker the 50mm but worked perfectly for rigid ink PLA, ASA 1kg spools and PLA from Das Filament (0.8kg spools). For Prusa filament spools I had to sand away a tiny bit from the pipe but now it works, too.

I've used some pneumatic connectors (https://goo.gl/HSrQXJ) and PTFE pipes (https://goo.gl/ddFPgf) to feed the filament to the printer. The connectors and pipes should have an 2 mm inner diameter and a 4 mm outer diameter.

To keep everything dry I've added Silica Gel granules (https://goo.gl/ddB1sd ).

To seal the container I've used rubber seals for windows like this https://goo.gl/g6DkH3 . Together with my clamps it seals well enough from my use case.
