Holder used for implanting Cf-252 Fission Tracks

Slide Holder for Cf-252 Irradiation. Design and model for my PhD work.

Slide holder to fit over aluminum puck containing Cf-252 source for surface track implantation. Positioning of the slide is important in order to expose the desired area. Minimizing the time spent near the radioactive source is also important for the users health and well-being. This 3D print allows the user to set up the slide away from the source and then quickly drop the holder onto the source.
