Description

This Dice Tray is designed to attach onto your table and easily swivel underneath the table to clear up space when needed.

My friends and I have D&D at my house every other week and with 7 players things can get a bit crowded. I wanted to create a Dice tray that would allow people plenty of space to roll their dice without taking up too much space on the table. Very happy with how these came out. I think they look great and they work exactly how I wanted.

I would love to see others makes, I've also included the F360 files in the description of the parts for easier remixing.

Vice Toppers:

  • I've included Symbol toppers for all of the 13 major D&D classes.
  • I have also included Topper_Blank in case anyone would like to remix their own symbols. It's just a 59.2 x 39.3 x 1.5 mm box.

Tips:

  • I printed the Vice_Screw and Dice_Tray with Rafts. During my tests any significant amount of elephants foot occurring on the threaded areas caused the screw to bind. Rafts completely resolved that issue.
  • I found that printing Vice_Body without supports led to the best overall print. My tests with both standard supports and tree supports messed up the threads and made the print unusable.
  • I designed Vice_Top to fit 1 ½ inch Felt pads that I had laying around to protect the bottom of my table. I added some craft foam to the bottom of the vice to protect the top of my table

I've included two different screws (Vice_Screw_Short, Vice_Screw_Long) to accommodate different Table sizes without having too much of the screw jutting out from the bottom.

Print Settings:

Printer: Creality Ender 3

Build Plate Adhesion: Rafts Strongly Recommended for anywhere that the threads touch the build surface (Dice_Tray & Vice_Screw)

Supports: No

Resolution: 0.16mm

Infill: 20%

Filament: eSUN PLA+, 3D Solutech PLA, TTYD3D Silk Gold
