Description

The Pumpkin Rocket is a fun Halloween themed model rocket that features a stack of pumpkins as the rocket body and the pumpkin stem as the nose cone. This rocket was designed and prototyped for use with Estes 24mm D12-3 motor, and Estes 3/16" rod launch pad. The rocket is 2.5" in diameter, it has a total length of 18.5", it weighs 170 grams with the motor installed, and it will fly 500+ feet. It is 3D printed in ABS plastic and it is made up of 4 parts; the nose cone assembly, the upper body tube, the base fins, and the motor cap. For reference I included an image of the Open Rocket design file.

**Nose Cone & Shoulder - add infill with a target weight of  23 grams**

Assembly: Test fit parts before assembly, make any adjustments needed with sand paper. Install shock cord on Base Fins Mount. Glue Upper Tube to Base Fins. Glue to Nose Cone to Nose Cone Shoulder. Attach the shock cord to Nose Cone Base, and then add the parachute.
