Description
Ever get your cloth patio umbrella too close to the porch light or the fire pit? This is a clip to capture the cloth and the umbrella spoke together. Simply pull the cloth down to the end of the spoke then clam shell it together with a couple nuts and bolts. The is the perfect kind of hack this printer was purchased for.
The tunnel on this clip measures .750" [19 mm] diameter. Measure your spoke plus umbrella cloth to make sure it will fit in a .750" tunnel. If you need a bigger tunnel please let me know I'll design you a new one. This one was designed for my umbrella but it may not be one-size-fits-all.
I printed it in PETG. I used 8-32 flat Phillips with nuts. They've got a countersink head. Purchased at Lowe's. See pic. There's a small brim you will need to trim from one of the parts.
