Mini wrench for M3 nuts and M3 hex head screws

I really love working with M3 screws on my 3D printed parts. In most cases they are easily strong enough, they don't need much space and are so cheap that I always get each sort in a pack of 100 pieces, so I always have enough of them on stock.

Especially I like M3 screws with hex heads, as they are perfectly suited for 3D printed knobs or for hexagonal cutouts in the 3D print that holds them perfectly in place.

Now sometimes I end up with designs where I would really need a slim wrench that fits on M3 nuts or hex heads, with their 5.5mm width. This is when this little guy comes into the game, that I thought of for a while, now I designed it today on a Sunday evening on the sofa with my laptop on my legs. Printed on a Prusa i3 Mk3S, it fits perfectly on a M3 hex head screw (see picture).

The only thing on this design that was a bit overambitious, was the imprint of 1.7mm font size. The i3 Mk3S did an outstanding job to actually print this tiny font. But at that size it is anyway hard to read unless the surface is colored post-printing with a marker pen (which will wear off over time). Anyway, who cares what brand name is written on a wrench ;-)
