Description

Taking off from this design (and with thanks to its designer), I developed my version of a Router Table type attachment for a Dremel 3000. The most major change I made was moving the height adjustment from the threaded "throat" attachment to a pair of "legs" on the table part itself. I did this to allow for greater travel, including the ability to lower the table enough to change the tool, which would otherwise require disassembly, and thus limited the use of tools to those that fit through the "throat".

The fit for the height adjustment "legs" is tight, and will take some sanding - or you can adjust the model, if you're OK with a looser fit. UPDATE: I heard you, the “legs” were too tight; I've added a version with a slightly bigger clearance 😊

I used EU screws - M5 pan head for assembly and M6 hex head for the fence mount. If you have shorter screws for assembly than the 16mm ones I used, remember to adjust the model accordingly. The 30mm M6 screws shown for the fence mount need not be that long either, but shortening them should not require any model changes.

The hex screws and nuts should mostly have a reasonable press fit, but I recommend doing a test print with your own printer and adjust if necessary.

Note that I left some space in the ring holding the Dremel body, for a fairly thick layer of felt - you can see it in the parts picture.

Enjoy!
