Meet Terminator Model T-Eddy: Fully custom 3d skeleton fitted into a stock teddy skin with a custom C# application to dynamically control the pwm cheeks and servos via a script that uses the data from Kinect.

How I Designed This

This was designed using inventor, but Sketchup is also suitable. I just used inventor to learn about the stress tests

Objectives

Learn about design, robotics, electronics.

Audiences

Depending on the progression, this project can apply to any variety of audiences. From toddlers using the finished product, to engineers at the start of the design, to teenagers in the assembly and programming of the servos

Preparation

The project has several steps and stages, each part requires basic skills related with the used tools and materials:

1) Design part requires a 3d modeler software and a 3d printer
2) Assembly part
3) Hardware testing and programming (electronic)
4) Software control

Results

Since the project could be very long, each step has several results concluding with a working robotic puppet
