Ultra long and ultra slim vaccum cleaner nozzle (extendable)

Sometimes size simply does matter. Especially when you are trying to vacuum you cars interior and have to get into those very slim and deep spaces between the front seats and the power train tunnel.

Of course vacuum cleaners come with a variety of nozzles, and typically there also is one that is long and flat. But for my car it was simply not long and flat enough. So I have decided to design this 2-piece nozzle. The bigger one is simply a rather low profile (18mm diameter at the tip) round nozzle, that is basically as long as I could print it upright in my printer (197mm in total). That part is about as good as the part that comes with vacuum cleaners, which means that so far we have not really gained anything. The trick is that the second part is even slimmer and fits into the tip of the first part. That gives you another 50mm of really ultra slim nozzle (6mm) for those tiny spaces besides the seats sliding rails. The vacuum cleaner hose adapter is made for a 1.25 inch (31.7mm) diameter.

I hope this solves this problem for mankind once and for all. If you should happen to know of a car that has even tinier spaces to vacuum, I'd be interested to know.

Notes:

PETG ends up roughly 1% smaller than designed on my Prusa i3 MK3S. Therefore I have added 0.3mm to the diameter of the vacuum cleaner hose adapter, which has a nominal diameter of 1.25 inch (31.7mm). This gave me a perfect fit. If you have less shrinking, or your printer or slicer compensates for the shrinking, you may end up with a not so tight fit.

The smaller part will fit perfectly well into the bigger part, as long as you use the same material for both, so they show the same amount of shrinking.
