Description
I wanted to create a fun Christmas season LED decoration using the Tinkercad Glow Circuit (LED holder). I came up with just a simple Christmas tree design with holes for ornaments and the LED illuminates it from behind! I put circles around the ornament holes, changed the dimensions of the layers of the tree and trunk to give it more detail!
The Tinkercad Glow Circuit is designed to fit one 10mm LED light and at the time when I first designed this I didn't have any, so I added in groves so you could use either 1 10mm LED or 2 5mm LEDs (along with the coin cell battery, of course).
This is my first time ever trying to design something for LEDs and I'm pretty happy with it!
The printed trees shown are printed in eSUN Pine Green, Marble, and Glow in the Dark Green!
I bought these small LEDs and coin cell batteries a couple years with the goal of doing glowing jewelry and while I haven't done that yet, I'm happy I came up with something finally.
I didn't do anything special for slicing, but if you're not using support (which I didn't) you should have at least 2 parameters to make sure those branches don't droop.
