Description
This model came about after doing a Creeper Snowflake. I decided to adapt the idea for a simple Christmas tree kit where you have a base, a pole, and stacked layers. It is topped with a distorted Creeper head to give it more of a tree top look.
The layers are all the same design and thickness but different sizes. The design also alternates between layers.
This tree consists of Top, Post, Base, and Layers 1 - 7.
Printing:
I find this model VERY hard to print. I actually don't even print it anymore because of it.
My printer really doesn't like the little details.
Honestly, the only real way I can print this is by printing down a layer of water soluble filament first and then doing the print on top. I don't have pictures of printing the tree this way, but have some pictures of doing another print this way to share if you want to try that. You don't need to do the base, top, or post this way. Just the 7 layers.
It's annoying and tedious, but I'm sharing this anyway in case someone comes up with a handy way to print this. Please share your settings if you do!
