Please mind the Update section down below.
If you want the cute cats, visible in the cover picture
You may have seen them. Maybe you called them out in their respective Makes section. You might have reported them. And you still see them thriving?
The irony of asking in a contest for repeating patterns and indeed getting an awful lot of repetition of known patterns is not an opportunity to be missed.
Prusa/Printables is the only authority that is able to ensure that everything that happens here is fair game. This model has the clear intention of gathering enough momentum for the topic at hand and thereby placing it high up on the radar of the ones in charge.

The attached files are suggested contemporary wall art to adorn suitable offices/premises.
In case this topic gets no traction, the community isn’t bothered enough or the problem is of no concern to Printables, let’s be realistic: I might simply get kicked out in a measure of containment or ride a dead horse out of town, never coming back with it.
If you think there is more to be desired or discuss, feel free to join the newly created Captious Critics group. It’s intended to be a small thorn, collecting and bothering enough, to have positive changes happening.
The cover photo is a cropped picture made by chuckthedudeman, published on December 13, 2020 and showing his awesome make of Suekatcook's Tessellating Cat Ornament, which was published on January 28, 2016. You may have also seen other pictures like the one of Geek2Nurse's make from December 31, 2017.
We made it, the primary goal of catching up with a very bold upload of a stolen design was reached and the offending model (in fact, the entire account) finally was struck down by Mikolas Zuza.
Now, after causing quite some friction, radiating and receiving heat, it is time to change the tone a bit I think. Dropping the faint resemblance of a demanding rally and accentuate the part of a firm statement, coming from within the community and equally carried by the Printables staff.
Along the way of reaching the primary goal, small shortcomings have been revealed, I think, that could be improved on.
Regarding the contests and their aims: The very special mindset of people fleecing everyone and everything is the problem, I think. I do like the contests and firmly stand by MattStultz when it comes to criticizing chosen topics, thinking a contests intention can't be to blame for what entries dribble in.
A big thank you goes out to the Printables staff for their daily effort and everyone involved here. You are all awesome :-)
