Model description

The Dash 8 is a twin turboprop regional airliner which places its design concept on high performance and low operating costs. The Series 400 is the largest version of the Dash 8, featuring an airframe that’s 6.83 meters longer than the Series 300. It also features a larger T-Tail, an increased wingspan, more powerful Pratt & Whitney engines, a higher cruise speed and it can carry more passengers.

The Q400 introduced the Active Noise and Vibration Suppression system which made the airplane a lot quieter and more comfortable.

Assembly

The engine halves should be connected using pieces of 1,75 mm filament.

• Layer height: 0,2mm
• Outer walls/perimeters: 2
• Bottom layers: 3
• Top layers: 5
• Infill: 0% (except for the stand: 25%)
• Minimum layer time: 5 sec
• Perimeter generator: classic (not arachne)

Minimum required print volume for the Q400 is 52x80x165 mm.
