Japanese Torii Gate

A 4-part Japanese Torii gate

Printing:

The black parts (Feet and top beam) are fairly simple to print.

The red part (main body) might be a little tricky. The way I managed to do it is shown below:

I printed it upside down with supports enabled.

I added 4 manual supports tapered wider at the base (to prevent it falling over)

I added a 5mm wide brim for further support

This way I managed to print it without falling over.

Removing the supports does take some time. Cutting it away piece by piece I was able to remove it.

Assemble:

Push the feet over the legs of the torii gate main body

The vertical beams are not at a perfect 90degree angle. So rotate the feet accordingly so they are flush with the surface below.

Place the Top beam on top of the main body

I did use some glue to attach them together. But it can do without
