Description
This is a variation on my first boomerang design that I made in 2011. It is a slightly more refined shape, but it still only consists of a bunch of lines and circular arcs lofted into the third dimension.
The plain one had a tendency to hover over my head a little too long and do an extra circle, so I had to slow it down with rubber bands. Therefore, I created versions with slots and holes which are used to slow the boomerang down. If the large holes or slots are too extreme, you can try taping them off partly to reduce drag.
Here's a video of this boomerang in flight, printed at 120% scale in PLA.
