Description
NOTE: I've updated this print with versions containing looser tolerances that may work better for some printers.
The angled leaves of the clover-shaped links on this print-in-place bracelet look very nice when printed in dichromatic PLA, such as the MatterHackers Quantum blue/green shown here. They make a great St. Patrick's day fashion accessory.
There are four models sized in 22 mm increments, and two different tolerance values (spacing between link and hinge). The regular and looser tolerance versions have 0.25mm and 0.4mm gaps between the links and the hinges. Lengthwise, the 8 link bracelet fits my (small, women's wrist) nicely, and the 7 link bracelet will probably be the right size for a child. Bracelet lengths are:
The bracelets in the pictures were printed in PLA at 0.12mm layer height with no support. Good bed adhesion is essential for the first layers. Be gentle when removing the print from the bed, as the links can break if yanked roughly. The bracelet may be slightly stiff at first but the links will loosen up with gentle flexing.
