Description
As a fan of the Battle Angel Alita manga I did enjoy the Cameron / Rodriguez film.
I still, however, prefer the original manga version of the Damascus Blade. So here it is, printable or cutable.
You can print it on printer of your choice or use the .DXF to have it plasma cut from steel, or even laser cut from wood.
Steel or carbon rods for reinforcements are mandatory for this project. Designed for 3mm rods, but 2.5mm threaded rod I had on hand worked as well.
You will also need 6 M5x25 screws. Four for assembling of the knife, two to use as a stoppers to hold the blade in proper positions (when opened and closed).
Next, you will need a M5x15 washers which you can either print or use regular metal ones.
Tip - change filament from silver to black for last three layers of the blade for the black steel with shiny edge effect.
