Parts

The teabag carousal consists of 3 parts. A low-profile stand, teabag holder, and stand stop.

Stand

The low-profile stand is an essential part of the teabag carousel, and it is designed to hold the teabag holder securely in place while allowing easy access to the teabags. The stand should be printed with high infill providing stability and preventing the stand from lifting when removing a teabag. 

Holder

The teabag holder is the main component of the carousel that holds teabags. It is designed to hold different-sized teabags and accommodate an average pack thickness of 4mm. The holder has a capacity of 20 packs at a time, providing ample storage for tea enthusiasts. It can be printed in PLA but is stiff, resulting in a firmer grip on the tea bag. To enhance its flexibility, it is suggested to print the holder in PETG, which provides a better grip and prevents the teabags from slipping.

Stand Stop

The stand stop is a critical component that prevents the holder from coming off the stand. It ensures the holder remains securely attached to the stand, eliminating the risk of spilling or damaging the teabags. The stand stop is designed to fit perfectly with the stand and holder, providing a secure connection. It is made of PETG Prusament Urban Grey, which provides a durable and robust solution.

Printing Difficulty: I

For my print, I used the following filaments.

• PETG Prusament Urban Grey for the stand and stop.
• PLA Prusament Vanilla White for the holder.
