Description
A bookmark which shows Starlight Beacon framed by the High Republic emblem on the top and bottom.
The bookmark is 150mm long, 40mm wide and 0.5mm thick.
The image of starlight beacon is 3-dimensional. The thickness represents how close a certain part is to the camera. (This was done by taking the z-depth of a render of my starlight beacon model, and turning this into a lithopane.)
There are two alternate versions. On the “overlap”-version, starlight beacon overlaps the boundary of the bookmark and sticks out to the side. On the “flat”-version, the entire surface is of uniform thickness and starlight beacon is simplified.
This model was inspired by Imperial Star Destroyer Bookmark by Zach.
Use a small layer height (0.05mm), unless you are printing the “flat”-version. Ironing is recommended.
If the flow rate is to high, the surface can get ugly. I recommend reducing the flow rate or extrusion multiplier, just to be safe.
