• Bracket angled towards extruder cover to keep the cable from dipping down.
• You may have experienced that over time the cable will dip down using the V1 and V2 brackets, this angled design will prevent that.

• Improved version that gently grips the ribbon cable keeping in steady, reducing the chance of it dipping down.

About

This is a support bracket for the Qidi X-Plus and X-Max ribbon cable, it attaches to the top extruder cover. Without support, the cable dips down when it gets extended, causing unnecessary stress on the cable as well as it getting greasy from the bearings and rods. It also touches the X-axis belt.

To install simply push in the tabs through the holes on the left side of the extruder cover then push down to secure it (use the lower holes) and route the ribbon cable over it.

Resolution: 0.2 mm

Infill: 20%

Notes:

You may not need to use supports but I manually added some supports between the bracket legs that attaches to the cover.
