This is a compact slide drying stand with an integrated test tube holder. It's a fine addition to any consult room and comes in handy when you need to transport samples within a clinic to the lab for analysis.
Design features
It's designed for standard 75x26mm slides and 13mm test tubes.
The legs clip on to the frame (this makes the printing a bit easier, since each piece can be optimized for its strongest orientation).
The slides are angled back 5 degrees to help prevent them from falling out.
Printing instructions
Print one body and two legs, each as oriented in the .stl file
Assembly instructions
Gently flex the leg over the body and push it into place.
It should clip on securely. If it doesn't, try adding a drop of superglue in the slots.
Notes
The entire design is parameterized in OpenSCAD. If you'd like any modifications (such as spacing, slide angle, leg size, tube size), just message me and I'll see what I can do.
