Description

This design remixes most of the Mini 13 armor but you will still need to download mini13-armor-foot-2x.stl, mini13-armor-head.stl and mini13-armor-shoulder-2x.stl as well as the full MINI 13 frame.

I absolutely love the Lucky 13 model. It has been the perfect creative outlet for me since I stumbled across it last July. Having said that, I think Mini 13 is the better model. It's so much easier to remix and print as well as not having a ton of files floating around.

For example, a completed leg from the Lucky 13 model contains a Thigh, Shin and Knee armature as well as Thigh 1, Thigh 2, Knee, Shin 1 and Shin 2 skin pieces. That's eight unique pieces for just one leg. With Mini 13, you only have two unique pieces, one Leg frame piece and one Leg armor piece. In the case of Destro, one leg only contains three (four if you count the holster on the right leg) unique pieces because I customized the shin. Even after the remix, it's still only half as many files to deal with compare to a standard Lucky 13.

The biggest reason why I prefer the Mini though is the size. At 3.5" the mini brings me right back to my childhood where the toy to own were the 3.5" G.I. JOE action figures. With that in mind, today's remix is one of my favorite bad guys, Destro.

Also, I usually jump all over the place when making my remixes but you can expect more G.I. Joe characters in the immediate future.

Supports will be necessary for Waist.stl, Holster.stl and Neck.stl. Assembly is straightforward. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.
