Description

This playing card deck case is an easy print and disassembles into two card trays. The case snaps together and holds your deck securely. It's designed to work with standard-sized playing cards. Each half of the case has an opening to allow easy insertion and removal of the cards.

The internal dimensions are 58mm by 88mm by 20mm. This was designed to fit PET plastic cards, but works excellently with standard paper cards. If there's any interest in cases for other sized cards (Pokemon, MTG, etc.), leave a comment and let me know!

To close the case, simply align both halves and press down until you feel it snap. To open the case, lift up one of the short sides and then lift up the other short side.

For printing, I recommend 3 vertical shells and 5 top/bottom layers. It was designed around a 0.4mm nozzle and a 0.2mm layer height. With these print settings, you won't have any infill and the case will be sturdy. The STLs are already in the proper print orientation.

PROTIP: Consider your bottom pattern and your print surface! Textured beds create a great top and bottom finish on this print even with Monotonic. If you're using a smooth or glossy surface, Archimedean Chords or Octagram Spiral look excellent!
