Description
To help press down the pastry in my wife's pie maker, a tool was needed to assist. The pies are cooked in a Sunbeam Pie Maker.
My solution to help my wife set out the pastry to use a custom 3D printed pie tamper tool. Before the pie maker is hot, layout the pastry over the pie maker, as per normal process. Now use the new tamper tool to press the pastry into place. The aim is to get the pie walls with even thickness.
The tamper is 74mm wide on the base to a maximum width of 95mm at the top. The walls are 30mm high, measured vertically.

I hope you can find this print useful, too.
My print is made in PETG 1.75mm 3DFillies orange filament, with 0.2mm layer height and 15% infill on a PRUSA I3 MK3S printer.
