Description
The Cumulus Class Corsair is the ship captained by Pirate King Gorian Shard in Star Wars: The Mandalorian.
This model comes in 1:500, 1:1,000, and 1:2,000 scales. (Under the assumption that this ship is 150m long.) There are two versions each - one with open gunports and one with closed ones.
There is now also a 1:440, scaled to fit with the models from X-Wing Miniatures Game. This version comes only with open gunports and it has two connection points on the underside which should fit the appropiate base from X-Wing Miniatures Game.
| Scale | Length | Width | Height |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1:500 | 300mm | 136mm | 55mm |
| 1:1,000 | 150mm | 68mm | 28mm |
| 1:2,000 | 75mm | 34mm | 14mm |
| 1:440 | 341mm | 155mm | 63mm |
The photos and renders show the 1:500 version with open gunports. One photo shows it alongside a CR90 model of the same scale to illustrate the size.
Note that the cannons on the 1:1,000 and 1:2,000 scale versions do not have barrels due to the small size.
| Part | Notes | Copies | Layer Height | Supports |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| bow | open/closed, same as stern | 1 | 0.2mm | yes |
| stern | open/closed, same as bow | 1 | 0.2mm | yes |
| connector | 1 | 0.2mm | no | |
| dorsal cannon | 4 | 0.1mm | yes | |
| ventral cannon | only for open bow/stern | 14 | 0.1mm | yes |
| stand | 1 | >0.25mm | no |
Printed at 0.15mm layer height.
Requires supports on buildplate. The model is oriented in a specific way to reduce supports while at the same time ensuring that overhanging part can be supported.
This version is untested. I am confident that everything should work, but can make no guarantees.
