Description
After implementing the vibration reducer feet on my 3D printer, I have noticed a substancial reduction in the amount of vibrations that the printer generates. In fact, my tests have shown that the feet are able to reduce vibrations from 40-50%! [Depending on the printing speed/model size/X axis height]
While this is a great improvement, I should note that the feet are only working about 2/3rds as well as I had hoped. I had initially designed them to reduce vibrations by up to 50-60%, but it seems that there are still some improvements that need to be made.
That being said, I believe that these feet could be really useful for anyone who is printing large models at high speeds at around 300mm/s or higher.
In my experience, when you're printing at high speeds, it's not uncommon for the printer to just start moving from side to side, which can cause the table it's sitting on to vibrate as well. The vibration reducer feet can help to stabilize the printer and prevent this from happening, which can lead to much better print quality.
