Rugged Box with Modular Slots (Parametric) - Normal height

The rugged box and inserts are based on my parametric “Rugged Box”.

The size of the inserts (and the box itself) can be modified in Fusion 360 (f3d file available in the files section).

There's also a version which has more shallow slots and provides different container inserts.

Inserts

In Fusion 360 you can increase the “InsertDummies” parameter to add additional blank inserts to design your own ones very easily.

Various inserts are included already:

• Simple container (1-4 slots wide)
• AA/AAA batteries
• SD/microSD cards
• GoPro 8 / GoPro 8 batteries
• E3D Revo Nozzles
• Bambu Lab A1 Nozzles

Assembly

You will need six M3 screws to assemble it:

• 3 Slots => 20mm
• 5 Slots => 25mm
• 10 Slots => 30mm

Cut a piece a foam (~10 mm thick) for the lid to hold down the inserts when closed.

I like these screws which have a nice round head:

Or, if you want no screw head at all, which I personally like even more:

Note: I recommend the stainless steel ones. The blackened ones are oily and have to be cleaned.
