The Owl House Glyph Coaster

Coaster Types

There are three coasters of different sizes. All coasters are 2mm thick.

• Most designs use  “toh_glyphs-base” (80mm diameter).
• The only exceptions are the glyph combos, which use “toh_glyphs-base_combos” (100mm diameter).
• The teleportation combo uses  “toh_glyphs-base_teleportation” (180mm diamter) (Is 180mm to big for a coaster?). 

Start by loading the appropiate coaster/base into you silcer.

• All designs except for the combos are inset into the coaster. Add them as a negative volume to the coaster/base.
• The combos stick out from the coaster. Add them as a part to the coaster/base. This is necessary due to the small details.

Colors and Filament Changes

Use filament changes for colors. For inset glyphs, start with the base color (I've used black), switch to the second color at about 1.4mm, then back to the base color at 1.8mm.

For combos, which are not inset, start with the base color, then switch to the second color at 2.2mm.

Hint for using light colors on top of black filament: Colored filament, especially lighter colors, is often not fully opaque. When it is printed right on top of dark filament, the color will be noticably darker at first. To adress this, you can add a single layer of white filament as a foundation before switching to the second color. (Note that the presliced files do not have this extra filament change.)

Print Instructions

Select the right coaster and add the design as a negative volume or part. I've used 0.2mm layer height. Then add the filament changes (1.4mm and 1.8mm or only 2.2mm for combos).

Glyphs

Glyphs use “toh_glyphs-base” (80mm diameter). Add the glyph as a negative volume to the coaster/base.

The versions with ring have a second circle around the glyph.

King's 2nd Glyph appears on king's shield sphere alongside king's light glyph. It is unkown what this glyph does.

Glyph Combos

Combos use “toh_glyphs-base_combos” (100mm diameter) or “toh_glyphs-base_teleportation” (180mm diamter). Add the combo as a part to the coaster/base.

Other Designs

There are two other designs. They use “toh_glyphs-base” (80mm diameter). Add the design as a negative volume to the coaster/base.

• King's Collar 
  • “toh_glyphs-king_collar”
• Titan Luz
  • "toh_glyphs-titan_luz_v1", "toh_glyphs-titan_luz_v2", "toh_glyphs-titan_luz_v3"
  • Design on Titan Luz's chest in S3E3
  • Appears in at least three different versions, so there are three versions of this
  • You'd think the circles and line would line up (i.e. inner circle sits in the middle of the outer circle etc.), but no, they don't.
