HSW Single Walls - With Integrated Frame and Fastening Points (Honeycomb Storage Wall)

My new Honeycomb Coffee Wall just needs one section of the Honeycomb Storage Wall, and I found the regular wall pieces to be too flexible and asymmetrical for my liking, so I made one with:

• Integrated borders, making the piece much more rigid and have higher weight capacity
• Mounting holes on the rigid frame for secure attachment, and so you don't have to use any of the hexes,
• Mountable with double sided tape,
• And most importantly… Symmetry.

Sizes

I just needed the big one but I made a few extra sizes for you guys to print on smaller printers as well as smaller work spaces. The first size number denotes number of cells horizontally and the second size number denotes number of cells vertically so size 11x9 means 11 cells wide, 9 cells high.

Thicknesses

• Standard Duty (SD) 8mm thick
• Heavy Duty (HD) 10mm thick - warning, all inserts will fit very snug as the cell walls are more rigid

Mounting

Screw on with "Gauge 6" or 4mm countersunk head screws. The piece is 8mm thick so 16mm or 20mm screw will be suitable to mount to timber.

Mounting is also possible with double sided tape (such as 3M VHB tape) - particularly good if you want to mount to bathroom/kitchen tiles. If you plan to tape this on and want to remove any of the screw holes, make an 8mm thick cylindrical “add part” modifier and place on top of the hole. (I would leave the holes there in case you change your mind or move it)
