Description
Simply put, I wanted to print this tray, but with less need for supports and with a print in place hinge so that I didn't need to use hardware. Thanks to the original designer for the Fusion file, it was not hard to make the needed mods. While I might not have done it in the most efficient way, I got it done, and have also shared the Fusion file for additional improvement, if desired. STEP file also included.
Supports are only strictly needed on the corner “spout” cantilever, but if your printer makes saggy bridges, it wouldn't be bad to support the center as well. Mine came out OK, but has some quality issues with the top of the center. Also, the extreme overhang on the tapered spout on the side can result in some ugliness, but it woks ok without support.
I didn't realize until just now that the Fusion file had parameters… my changes might break some of those, if you change them by too much.
